UForce 800 / Exhaust cherry red
February 19, 2022, 05:44:54 PM
I was running the engine on my Uforce 800 and the exhaust started running deeper in sound than normal. When I looked at the muffler it was cherry red. As I pulled it into the garage I noticed low power as well. What could be the issue.

The old drive shaft was hitting the sway bar as well. We checked the installation of the new drive shaft and it seems to be installed properly. We made sure it was seated properly before installing the bolts. Could there be a mount issue on the front differential (transfer case or whatever the proper term may be), someone had suggested that to me? I wouldn't be able to tell unless pushing up on the drive shaft itself to see if the whole housing moved.

UForce 800 / Drive shaft hitting sway bar
February 15, 2022, 10:18:51 AM
I have a 2015 UForce 800 and I replaced the front drive shaft because the collar broke on it. Now it won't come out of 4x4 and the drive shaft is hitting the sway bar. Do I have a front differential issue? I am looking for ideas please.

Thank you for the help NMKawierider, but where do I find the accessory plug circuit?

I installed a 7.5" light bar on my UForce 800. I do have a question; does anyone know if there is a relay or somewhere I can connect the power wires to so the LED light on the switch does not stay on when the key is off? I'm not a whiz at vehicle electrical systems.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

balut the CFMOTO dealer is now here in Fairbanks at Alaska Fun Center. I know that's a long ways to go from Anchorage but at least there is still a dealer here in state.

I'm very interested in the PS unit from SATV, especially if it can just be bolted on. I am not a welder and it's very expensive here in Alaska to have fabrication work done and done correctly. The more information I can get the better. Thanks for the reply.

So I saw a post from Jun 2016 in "How To" about installing an aftermarket power steering unit, since my U800 is not power steering, and was wondering if this is a bolt up or if there is fabrication involved with the install. I understand the post mentioned fabrication because he wanted in a different place but will it just bolt up otherwise?

Thank you!

I see many suggestions to replace the air filters on the ZFORCE machines does this go for the UFORCE machines as well? Most of my riding will be for hunting and although we will encounter mud, water and dust we try to avoid most of that to keep our cargo clean and dry. I guess what I'm looking for is how often should I expect to have to replace the filter under these conditions.

I've seen a lot of good things on this forum and it seems very friendly not cut throat like other forums I see. It convinced me CF Moto was the way to go, I guess you could say this forum finalized my decision. I just bought a 2015 Uforce 800 left over, the previous CF Moto dealer went out of business in Anchorage Alaska and another dealer picked up the product line in Fairbanks Alaska. Looking forward to good times in comfort.
