Little rowdy today

Bee-bopping around in the Montana mountains.  Machine has 20hrs on it, tracks 4hrs.

^^Good point, but there's an hour meter too, and that doesn't lie.

Plus, I'm running tracks, mileage is pointless.

Good to know. Waiting on my 2022 delivery, so looking to get all the anomalies and tricks figured out.

Read someone else had an issue with a "seatbelt interlock", but was not UFORCE 1000.

Your issue is more "respectable" than a top end issue a buddy and I chased in another rig years ago.... Lot the top end... because a THICK rubber mat was put in..... and the throttle pedal did not go all the way down!

Have you found ability to calibrate the 2022 speedo?

I haven't bothered to attempt calibration yet, don't really care much.  I ride with my GPS for speedo when in town or on paved roads to avoid a ticket or keep pace with rural traffic.  Yeah, nothing wrong with this machine, I was just being dumb (I can fully accept that).

Is it perhaps just that you do not have the seat belt fastened?

I believe there may be a switch in the seat belt system.

Ha, no, I wear the seatbelt.  The cause is...drum roll......I'm an idiot.

The machine has the "work" and "normal" mode.  In normal mode, the throttle is soft and it's a pretty pathetic machine.  In "work" mode I can get the speedo to 75mph, which we all know is bullshit and really about 62mph.  Machine is fine, operator was expecting too much.  I guess "work" - "normal" mode must affect ECU or clutching somehow, because it is night and day different.

The limiter is certainly there in "low", but that's fine and expected.

^^Yeah, rev limiter for neutral makes total sense.  This thing clearly has electronic limiter, as it is so obvious in low gear at 5500 it just shuts down.

Dealer looking at it next week, but I'm buying OBD2-USB cable and going to look at file on ECU to see if limiter built in, or some faulty issue.

Good point, might try that. Also going to get it past the ten hour mark in the next couple days.  It goes into the dealer next week.

Yeah, I've read that as well.  Seems logical.  The machine runs great.  I've spent plenty of time re-jetting carbs (prior to fuel injection) and rebuilding motos and have a pretty good grasp on fuel/air mixture and effects of jetting.  This machine runs great, it's not a fueling issue, doesn't seem like a belt issue, it's almost certainly an electronic issue.

^^^Right, just wondered if they had a smarty pants limiter for break in............apparently not.

Bump....

I have 2022 Uforce 1000 that seems to cut out at 5200rpm in high or low when in 2WD.  CFMoto headquarters say no ECU limiter, dealer says same.  Are they still putting these throttle body limiters in new machines?

The dealer and CFMoto headquarters said no limiter.  Clearly it seems to have one, perhaps by error, or the folks don't know the machine.  I'm hoping to put some more hours on it to get it over 10 hours, as it says clearly in manual to not exceed 1/2 throttle for up to first 10 hours.

Called dealer as well as tech at CFMoto, both say no built in limiter for break-in.  So I guess a 5 hour CFMOTO is already in the shop..........

Went out in low gear today, pretty obvious rpm limiter at about 5,500 rpm.  At that level, throttle becomes dead.  Can clearly see it in this video I posted.  At 27mph can hear throttle cut out.  Same, but less obvious in high gear.  Hours are < 10, so assuming this is programmed into ECU to follow break-in guidelines per manual.

Sorry if this has been covered. Does the 2022 Uforce1000 have RPM limiter for break in process? I'm only at 130 miles and following break in guidance but did notice it won't go over about 5500rpm.

Did you put on bigger tires window etc

Mine a 2021 was struggling to get over 5500 rpm after I put large tires an cab on
I changed the clutching an now it will sing to 7000+

All stock. Did read post on sun forum here about limiter on older machine? Will call dealer tomorrow.
