So got a low mileage ZF800 trail, however I noticed once in a blue moon it would not turn on, but would normally start on a given day. Checked connection on battery and was a bit loose, so I tightened it. Still did it once in a while, where it wont turn over.

Now its not doing anything at all (still has power, lights, dash etc) I also double checked the kill switch, loose cables around the battery area. Also moved the P to N to see if maybe it was something with the position of P and N. So as of now it went from doing it once in a while, to fully dead.

I do hear the EFI pump turn on, but if I turn it back off and turn it back on right after, I wont hear the EFI pump. Not sure if that is normal or not? Usually when i turn on and off the machine and on again, I usually hear the EFI pump right after on other machines.

Where is a good place I should be looking?

Thanks!

Hey guys, so I am not sure what is going on, but I am trying to find maybe a stronger tie rod end for the end of the tie rod, not sure if someone has been having this issue as well, it is only happening with the passenger side, never the driver side. Tie rod keeps bending pretty easy and I keep having to replace it every so often. Is there another tie rod that fits in there? I am not sure if its like an m5 or so.

Im thinking of just buying different tie rods and seeing which one fits.

I tried the Demon Powersports tie rod but unfortunately they do not fit the trail width one.

Any thoughts or ideas?

So I have 2 cfmotos now! Yay! but the cforce600 touring definitely behaves different than my zforce800. I guess the best way I can explain it is almost feels like it does not shift and stays revving high when going 20-30mph power feels like its delivered mid to high range when I start getting on the throttle while the zforce800 is all low end.

I also have a polaris 570 and it runs at a much lower RPM I believe when going at those speeds, i mean it still revs but not like the cforce600. the best explenation is it feels like its in 1st or 2nd gear revving pretty up there at 20ish mph. I am just not entirely sure if the cforce600 characteristics are just that way? unless that is just how the cvt transmissions are? but I believe my zforce800 has cvt as well.

anyone on here with a cforce600 where it also rides and behaves that way? pretty much in the revs and "feels" like it is not shifting?

General Discussion / zforce 800 not going into low
November 11, 2021, 08:10:40 PM
Hey guys, so it seems linkage is out of spec or something. it will set on low, but I have to jam it pretty hard and hold it hard in low when I get moving and it will stay in place, sometime it pops out though and grinds, so it tells me the linkage needs to be adjusted. I just feel like it needs to go up more in order to set. all other selectors work well.

Question is, I have no idea how to do this, or how it looks. I was reading the forums, but its all honestly chinese to me. Can someone help me out by pointing me to the right direction? do I need to remove the seat? or take off all the panels etc.

I read somewhere that adjusting the linkage is like the tie rod?

appreciate the advice!

So essentially this happened while riding normal, and just snapped. is this just bad luck or the zforce tie rods are normally bad? Anyhow, I was thinking of drilling it out, but I dont know I can mess up the threads, or is it 100% for sure change the entire rod?

but before anything! i know i know i know....no helmet on her....i tried convincing her to put on a helmet, its like pulling teeth. Anyhow, she learned her lesson about the cold and realize a helmet would be beneficial.....and safer.

Hello everyone. So i did a general search and just cant find the answers I am looking for sadly. I typed in "oil"
and other oil issues come up instead of what oil to use in a change.

I was wondering what you guys use for

front diff oil change
rear diff oil change
transmission oil change
engine oil change

can I use the same stuff as polaris 570 oils?

General Discussion / dampening your suspension?
November 23, 2017, 12:28:49 PM
hey all im really stupid when it comes to atvs and cars ha ha. When they say "dampen your suspensions" what do they mean? how do you do that?

I was able to adjust my zforce trail to more "soft" which seems to be a bit better, but my suspensions still seem a bit stiff.

General Discussion / super rocky ride??
September 03, 2017, 01:06:24 PM
hey all, so finally took out my cf moto and to my surprise, the ride was extremely bumpy and not very comfortable. I was wondering if this is just a side by side thing? I know my ATV is definitely not that rough riding. Since I never rode a side by side before, im thinking maybe thats just the way they are since they are heavier and you are in a seat

Hi All! So I was at the dealership and noticed the price of the CF moto 800. and I am love with the look and accessory. so i talked to a few ppl at the dealer ( service PEOPLE and sales man)

so they recommended i was until they more rzrs in stock; that cfmotos arent bad machine but if I want something to last, go for RZR - and mentioned you get what you pay for.

so im not sure what to go. I obviously dont want a machine with problems. Do you have have any stories? maybe a cfmoto with 2000+ miles with no issues? etc. I know rzrs can have problems, but I believe they are not often as I have a 570 with 1000 miles no issues yet

was hoping cfmotos can be comparable as far as reliability? like blown motors and tranny issues are what im concerned about or small breaks every 3 months.
