My apologies if this has been asked and answered, please help me to the correct post if so. On the U1000 how many grease points are there and where are they. I cannot seem to find definitive answers anywhere and want to be sure I'm getting them all.

Thinking About Buying a CFMOTO? / Re: UForce 1000 Owner Reviews
February 19, 2022, 08:20:41 AM
I've had a U1000 since July. Early I had an issue with rear brakes. They got so hot from a dragging brake that it blued the rotors and melted the seals out of the calipers. Warranty fix, Dealer thinks I left park brake on and drove around, I think it was a setup issue, either during original assembly or dealer set up that left a brake dragging. Outside of that one little hiccup the thing has been amazing and exceded my expectations. So much machine for the $$, I actually expected to have to deal with some issues but outside that one thing it's performed flawlessly. It has all kinds of power, I think it's noisy and hot but friends that have other brands say mine is better to ride in than theirs that hot and noisy is just the way a UTV is. I do not work mine too hard, mostly light trail and highway riding with a little light use around the yard but I do not see anything in these that isn't on par with every other manufacturer I'm aware of and some of the ideas incorporated in this machine are impressive. If you have specific questions please ask away but I've found it as comfortable as any other utility machine I've been in and have not found any way that it is lacking anything over other brands and in some ways offers more for far less money.

Thinking About Buying a CFMOTO? / Re: Looking for a UTV for farm work and snow plowing

I have had a U1000 since July. It sure would do all that you need one to do and then some. I do not plow just mostly ride for fun but I'm very impressed with the machine I got for the price. Now that factory doors and windows are available it'll seal up nice for you in the winter. There are even heaters available for them (not factory however). The U600 might even be enough machine for what you are asking and also has windows and doors available. In my limited experience I would stay away from the 800 though in your situation. The reason I say this has nothing to do with the quality of the machine or it's capabilities but that it is a very much different design with more bucket type seating than the bench of the 600 and 1000. I found the bench style much easier to get in and out of and the width of the 1000 felt so roomy inside. I guess one more thing is that I haven't seen the cab endclosures for the 800 and I do not believe (could be wrong tho) that there are doors available for it from CFMoto. I must say though that the seating was a deal breaker for me when I was looking and I have not dug deep into what is available for the 800.

General Discussion / Re: I have a 2018 UForce 800 but cant find a rear net

I am still waiting to get the info but a buddy of mine here in the states ordered a custom tarp from a tent and tarp manufacturer...ordered online and one of the fabric options was mesh. Was able to customize where and how many of what size eyelets and everything for under $40. If anyone is interested I'll pass on the info as soon as I get it. You folks up in Canada might be able to find a similar service available up there.
Just got word he got his from Covers and All. Just had a custom tarp made and one of the options for material is mesh (can all be completed online). Can specify where and how many gromets and if want edge reinforced. He left gromets off bottom of mesh so can still reach into box and was about $20 plus shipping. I've seen it and cannot really tell the difference between that custom "tarp" and the mesh roof he paid 4 or 5 times as much for. Will be ordering mine from there as well. Also just a heads up, will need to get the ball ball bungee cord straps to attach so that will add a few bucks to the project but they are cheap on Amazon.

UForce 1000 / Re: Turn signal Wire Connector
August 04, 2021, 10:37:02 AM
Mine was on a 2021 and I did not discover all this myself and won't take the credit. Some tidbits from several sources online while I awaited it's arrival. No one source had all the information and until I actually found the wire bundles I wasn't sure it would work. I'm not happy with my front light choice but incorporating the factory switch and flasher so I could use factory wiring that was there made this easy in my opinion.

Just bought a used 2021 uforce 1000. I would be very grateful if someone would walk me through the parts and the wiring i need to make things work. Thank you.
Buckeyze,

Those are the links to the switch and the flasher factory parts. You might have to copy and paste those as the hyperlink doesn't seem to be working for me today.
The switch goes right in dash and there is a bundle of wiring under there ( I took out the lower cubby right under switch panel) and part of that bundle is a couple connectors with nothing connected, one of them will plug right into the switch plug. That's it in cab.
The flasher goes behind the driver's side headlamp. 4 plastic clip rivits to remove the panel to get access from above front wheel. The connector under here has a blank stuck in it to keep clean, remove that, plug in flasher and tie up out of way.
Light connections.. front ones are part of the bundle going to headlamps but do not come out on headlamp side of the connection. I tied into them and found a ground on each side to connect my lights to.
Rear lights are wired through the large plug under the box. Lift box up and you should see 1 loom of wires that goes to the back of the box and a plug to enable removing of the box. I just used a test light in there to find the wires I was looking for and tapped into them before the plug to run my own lights for turn, brake and tail that I mounted on the back of the cab. Careful in here with test light as touching more than one pole will blow fuses (or so I hear..lol) There are wires in here for backup lighting, turn signals, tail lights, brake lights and possibly more you can tie into if you so desire.
I did mine for $40 in switch and flasher combined and about $40 in lighting plus misc. wire and connectors I had laying around.
Besides being inexpensive, comparatively, I like that this method causes the halo light inside headlight to go out in correspondence to turn signal coming on and activates the green arrows in dash display to remind me I've left them on.
Not in a spot I can get pics today but hope this helps.

UForce 1000 / Re: Turn Signal Kit
July 27, 2021, 02:58:33 PM
Those are the two things I ordered from CFMoto for my light kit. The switch plugs right in behind the dash. The flasher goes behind the driver's side headlamp, there is a plug there with a plastic cap on to keep clean. I zip tied all that up out of way and tied into wiring already at the front lights (part of headlight bundle) for front signals and rear are part of the bundle that clips together under the box. Add lights of your choice and it was relatively easy and considerably cheaper than and decent full on kit I've seen.

UForce 1000 / Leaking Brakes at 180 miles
July 23, 2021, 04:21:11 PM
First longer distance ride on the UForce yesterday. About half way home noticed inside of rear wheels coated with something that turned out to be brake fluid. Not wanting to be without the unit for extended time, I filled the reservoir and bled out the system in hopes I'd find a loose fitting I could just fix and move on. At first press on pedal fluid comes squirting out from somewhere in the caliper. I was so hoping for a just a loose fitting. Off to the dealer it went. While unloading I was asked if I'd driven with parking brake on by accident. They had previously had this issue one other time and that was deemed to cause enough heat to cause caliper seals to fail. I had hardly used the parking brake at this point let alone driven with it on but it made me think about the quality of machine I purchased here? The explanation seemed plausible but I'd never heard of such a thing happening before. Anyone else have a similar issue?

UForce 1000 / Re: Oil Filter
July 21, 2021, 08:15:09 PM
I did find some on Amazon that claimed to be a match for that part number. $10.99 for 2. Did an oil change today and I could not see any difference between the original that came out and these ones from Amazon so I gave it a whirl.. seemed to fit just like original when installed. Anyone have any experience with these?

UForce 1000 / Re: Turn signal Wire Connector

Just got my 1000 and can confirm that with the use of the factory turn signal switch and the factory flasher you may splice into wires already in place for turn signals. I ordered the switch and flasher online from Main Street Cycle and with minimal wiring installed my own lights. This has the added benefit that the halo lights in the headlights turn off when that side's turn signal is on and the green arrow indicators in the dash flash to alert you that you've left the signal on.

Might be a little too late but I saw somewhere a factory turn signal switch (in some countries they come with signals from factory) that had a pig tail on back that I think looked just like that. I recall it was about $20.

Thanks for the tip, not sure I'm comfortable with "close" to correct fitment. Next step is finding an economical place to pick up the CFMoto ones I suppose. Anyone got a supplier that is less expensive that dealership?

UForce 1000 / Oil Filter
July 07, 2021, 11:23:36 AM
My apologies if this has been asked and answered somewhere but I could not find it. Does anyone have a cross reference chart to oil filters for Uforce 1000? I don't have a dealer nearby and hoping that there is a cross reference to something I may pick up locally.
