That's a great drone. You are going to have some fun with it and get some great footage. Mine's just the old Mavic mini.

Thanks. It will. My problem is I don't get enough practice. When I can, I cheat a little by using a waypoint mission over areas and just let the programing run it's course. That last one of mine at the overlook was one. The whole thing was fifteen minutes long so I use just clips of it. It's hard to let them go out of sight and so far you can't hear them..especially over a canyon..with birds swarming all around it. "Be brave..go high..go far" that's what I keep telling myself...lol

I guess you have to trust the monitor and what its telling you. And we can always hit the RTH button in a panic ..lol. For me if I loose it it's only a few hundred...but for you it's closer to a grand+. That would hurt.
