Still trying to figure out the controls on the drone and what I can do with the camera.  I just bought the goggles and motion controller, so we'll see if I'm any better with that.  Joysticks are very confusing to me since I'm not a gamer.  I took the video a while ago, but was just now able to get it edited and posted.

I wasn't too sure about getting too close to the water either.  Still have a lot to learn about flying it.

I think my next one will have the ability to use the goggles and motion controller. Seems like it would be better then watching the screen on the controller and using joysticks.

That is decent flying....all it takes is more practice.  In my experience it is easy to tweak the controller for the drone to react slower specially when panning or changing direction from going forward to start a roll,  the slower the transmission the smoother the video.     Nice place to film too  :)

I actually just bought the goggles and motion controller for mine.  I tried it out on my last ride, but for some reason it would connect, but not let me take off.  So no drone video from the last ride.  Got home and tried to figure it out and it worked fine.  Will still take some practice though.

Thanks, I know it will take a lot more practice, hopefully the goggles and motion controller will make it a little easier.

it is definitely a skill you can lose.  I know I don't fly mine enough, really looking forward to try to learn it better with the goggles.

Mine spent some time at the charging station yesterday thinking I was going to take it out and get some practice..but that hasn't happened yet. Grrr.. :) I though being retired would give me lots of extra time to play with my toys...but it hasn't. It just means I have no excuse not to catch-up on all those put-off projects around the house. Just ask my wife...

I know the feeling.  I was retired for a short time, my wife didn't find that funny at all....so back to work I went.
