Hopefully I can figure out how to use this site.. I have never used a forum to post b4.. Anyway, I bought a 21 cfmoto cforce 500 and of course the warrantee is over. . Im pretty mechanically inclined but cant seem to figure an issue out.. it only has 300 miles.
It usually starts normal but other times it just turns over and nothing. eventually it starts but sometimes up to 5 mins.
I have already delt with the vapor lock issue.
checked to make sure it was in park
held the brake on.
Battery is perfect, turns over very fast.
This last time my son noticed the EFI Malfunction Indicator light was on. Tried to do a search on here but came up with nothing.
Anyone else have this issue and a way to stop it from happening or what to do if it happens again, which I know it will. :-(

Welcome. Probably something simple like a bad relay or fuel pump or even just some water in the fuel filter or tank. Check for all that though as well as check the valve lash. One of the thinks the 500s were having a problem with was the IACV. Usually just needed cleaning.
