I've seen a lot of good things on this forum and it seems very friendly not cut throat like other forums I see. It convinced me CF Moto was the way to go, I guess you could say this forum finalized my decision. I just bought a 2015 Uforce 800 left over, the previous CF Moto dealer went out of business in Anchorage Alaska and another dealer picked up the product line in Fairbanks Alaska. Looking forward to good times in comfort.

I see many suggestions to replace the air filters on the ZFORCE machines does this go for the UFORCE machines as well? Most of my riding will be for hunting and although we will encounter mud, water and dust we try to avoid most of that to keep our cargo clean and dry. I guess what I'm looking for is how often should I expect to have to replace the filter under these conditions.

YES...they use the same OE filter and that's what you..MUST..get away from. You will service the foam filters...not replace them...and that will depend on your usage.

So I saw a post from Jun 2016 in "How To" about installing an aftermarket power steering unit, since my U800 is not power steering, and was wondering if this is a bolt up or if there is fabrication involved with the install. I understand the post mentioned fabrication because he wanted in a different place but will it just bolt up otherwise?

I believe he used a universal Power Steering kit from SATV (SuperATV) and made his own mounts and linkage parts. The SATV kit uses less power then the OE unit so you can use it with the stator your non-PS unit has. See the PS option for the CFM's not only had a different harness as well as the unit and controller, but also upgrades the 350 watt stator to a 500 watt. He has been using his quite a while now and in a racing environment and it's held up well. Chuddly is the member and I'm sure he'll chime in.

I'm very interested in the PS unit from SATV, especially if it can just be bolted on. I am not a welder and it's very expensive here in Alaska to have fabrication work done and done correctly. The more information I can get the better. Thanks for the reply.

Drop Chuddly a PM and I'm sure he can shed more light on this. I do have the SATV PS system on my 06 Brute and its been solid..glad I have it.
