Hi my name Vlad. I am on the market for a SidexSide and learned about Cfmoto from my brother so doing my research for now. So far i have narrowed it down to
Polaris General But learned that its just to big when i saw it in person.
Polaris rzr 2 or 4 seater i have 2 little boys so 4 seats might come in handy but still not sure they are to young now.
and Zforce 800 or 1000 pretty much only interested in 60 inch wide
what i learned so far about Zforce
*Terrible air filter and must be replaced right away.
*Made in China lol i think polaris is made in Mexico with bunch of chines parts.
*make sure to go through all bolts and tighten them all.
* after market supor is there sometimes from Canada a nd other places and USA
*US main headquarters i guess are in MN are up and impoving from what i can tell.
* Most ppl had good experiance with warrenty work but not all. i guess better get from the right dealer.
*Seems to be the newer are better the quality of the car

What i need to know How much better is 1000 over 800 is it worth it?
hows the 2017 quality over 2018 couple of dealers around have 17's still on the lot
Is it worth buying New couple 2015's around used for little less money.

Oh if ur around WA and want to sell urs let me know.

other UTV i looked at
Kawasaki Tyrex Too Big
Can am mavric Nice i like it but hear to much about how expensive it is plus parts and service overpriced
Can Am commander same thing
polaris ranger not sporty and to big

The topic below might be of some value for you. Aside from that, the 1000 is new for 2018 but addresses many of the 800 issues. With that said the 2018 800s are the better bet over the older ones 15s. Still...not sure of all your needs but I'm sure like most of us, the first one isn't usually the last one...lol. One of my friends just got a new Wildcat Trail and I have to admit..that's a sweet machine. But..probably too small for your need.

we go hunting but i guess mostly its just to have some fun out on the trails. Not big on mud digging but if there is mud or a small river on the trail we keep going.
size wise for me rzr fit well zforce felt small but still very manageble.

use to own polaris sportsman's and predetor 500 and dirt bikes before that
predetor was great and fun sports man was not as fun cause everyone else was on sport quads at that time.
this time both my brothers are looking at UTV's mostly sport/utility like Uforce and tyrex

Good luck in your search. I have a 2017 Z800 I bought with 240 miles on it. It's got about 800 now with no problems.

What's a good price? Is 7k a good price or better look for a newer year modle? Or priced high?

Just an EX. If it's been in dusty conditions the engine has about 600-800 miles left on it. People are only getting on average 1000 miles out of engines in dusty conditions using the stock air filter. If you change it now, you might make 1800 miles. A full rebuild would cost in the 3K range so..offer him 5500 to cover that cost. Otherwise.. it isn't a bad price....IMO. KBB shows it retailing at 7720. If it hasn't ingested a butt-load of dust I think a price of 68-6900 would make me feel better.  JMO

What do u mean by just an EX?

I am not sure where it's been ridden he did say he rode in desert a few times.

So what do I check now that the filter has been stock?
I know I plan on removing the filter and looking inside the throttle body for dust and sand.
Any thing else I look for?
Poctures make it look like he did t even ride it. Just looks to clean to be used in a good way.
Is 2016 a good year to buy? I kinda wanted 2017 or newer just cause I hear cfmoto tries to make improvements on there newer cars.

There are trails which are 50" and the EX which are the 60"..well 59". That's what we call them..just Trails or EX.

Yes, pull the air filter, swab the intake track, examine, if dusty..walk away...is the best advise I can give you. On CFM's the newer the better as they work out issues on the fly.

It's a no go. That shit filter was sucking in all the dirt from new. Plus filter was dry not oiled right. Among other things.

Well, that's too bad. It's probably for the best. Oh and the stock paper filter has a foam prefilter over it and it doesn't get oiled cause it would get down on the paper part.

Oh I didn't know that.
Well there was a coating of dust passed the filter it was easy to see and i ran my finger and u can see residue on the finger. Also wiped it with clean white towel and u can see dirt on it.
The flapper was hard to reach but I can see how dark it was from dirt.
I hope I didn't pass up on a deal but I just was afraid to get my self in position where I need to rebuilt and cant go ride.

I am starting to second guess the whole cfmoto idea.
Simple thing means it's a total bust with in the 1st 1k miles.
I am starting to shift gears to wildcat maybe.

Nothing wrong with a WildCat. Do check the same things though. Dust kills everything.
