I bolted my LED light bar directly into the piping of the roll cage to be extra rigid / drilled a 5/8 in. hole for the wiring to be under the canopy as well... works perfect (noticed that the dealer mounts directly to the canopy with washers underneath but I thought it was a little wobbly / IMO) Put the electric touch switch to the left of the steering column, on the dash panel ... had to run a separate ignition "on only" power wire to the relay as to not run down the battery with the telltale power light.

I went straight into the roof.  Never wobbled or felt flimsy.  I've even clipped a small tree with it and never hurt it or the roof.  I do like the lower profile but my light is no higher than the back. It dead even.

Got my 30" light bar in, will probably get it installed later this week. I was trying to figure out the easiest way to run the power and it looks like this is the route I will be going with: 2 T wire splicers into the cigarette lighter power and a 2 pin electrical connector to go to the LED ....  is this a similar setup to what you guys are doing?

Only the + or POS for the LED light bar runs through the switch. It's ground or common goes straight to the frame. However, the internal led(s) of the switch does/do need a ground. The power for those internal leds are different for some switches. I used a three position rocker because I have two lights but...I think I posted a switch diagram. It's in the How Tosh.

As usual thank you NMK, I don't work with vehicle electronics very often so forgot all about the ground during testing (it is jumped to my neg on the power supply)

Is drilling a hole in the roof, then running cables through the rollcage a good route to go to hide the majority of the wiring? was also planning on using rubber grommets to seal the hole and prevent the metal from rubbing through the cable..

I drilled holes through the plastic roof for mine about the size of the cable and pulled it through..no problem. I was going to seal it with some black RTV but its sealed well enough so I left them alone. Looks cleaner then running it around the side.

Light bar is pretty easy, check out some of my pics on how I did mine, may give you an idea. My light bar sits level to the back of the roof so I wasnt too worried about clearance.

^^ Interesting looking soundbar. I at first had no interest at all in adding tunes to my ride, but so many guys are adding them that I started looking at what works well. I like this setup - https://www.walmart.com/ip/KENWOOD-KAC-M1824BT-4-CHANNEL-BLUETOOTH-BOAT-MARINE-MOTORCYCLE-AMP-AMPLIFIER/44641023 paired with a pair of these http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/MCM-CUSTOM-AUDIO-60-10031-/60-10031

I'd run it in bridged mode - 90w to each of the 8" woofers and call it a day. My only concern is how well the 8" speakers handle the midrange sound, compared to the smaller 6.5" ones that may actually do a better job on midrange but also lack the bass that the 8" offers. For about $215 invested, it seems like a nice, cheap setup.
2014 Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail - 27" GBC Dirt Commanders, soft top, quarter windshield, AC front and rear steel bumpers, Bandit springs, EZ Ryde Midnight Edition exhaust, Plano 1719 storage box, Speedwerx throttle and secondary clutch spring, heated seats, Polaris seat slider.

Sold: 2006 King Quad 700 - 27" ITP 589 M/S tires, ITP rims

That is the route I had planned knowing these bars start around $600, was on Ebay looking for some speaker pods that I liked when I ran across the MTX  (apparently the plastic was cracked in shipping, easy fix) for $425 or best offer w/ $30 shipping.... Offered him $350 shipped and he accepted it.

A cooler with built in speakers was another route I was looking at, you can get a lot of sound out of them and run them off or 12v atv batterys all day.

Holy crap, that is a cool idea !!! Many thanks for the link to that one. I was pretty much sold on that until I saw the Yeti name, and I quickly backed off. And you have to invest some time into making that Yeti cooler work properly. Not everybody has the skills necessary to make it as clean as that guy did.

Knowing how much they charge for a standard cooler WITHOUT the speakers, I think I will go back to my budget build with the Kenwood and MCM 8" pods. That is a hard setup to beat for the money invested.
