first of all thanks for the welcome , my first question is how do i create a avatar with a pic from iPhoto , if you could help me or point me in the right direction thanks .

At the moment we are in a transition period from an old and full server to a new system. Right now no one can upload any image files of any size so please hang in there while the site owner gets this done. How long will it take..I don't know. We've been waiting a bit now...but there are a number of image files already on the server under the avatar section you can use in the meantime. Hang in there. Also if you want to post pics of anything, just use a hosting service like Imgur and post links. That works fine.

Yeah...and it got old...a long time a go. This not getting fixed is also..getting old. But... at least we have Imgur.
