Hi everyone. New ZForce owner

Hello and thanks. I purchased my 2016 Zforce 800 EX two weeks ago. I was in the market for a used sxs but found the information here extremely useful and decided to use the same money for a new cfmoto instead. I took it out last weekend to Uwaharrie National forest in NC, and ran it pretty hard, jumping, rock crawling, etc.  Other than a busted rear brake line (due to hanging below the a arm) and a squeaky rear (it seems someone forgot to grease any of the bushings), I'm really enjoying it.
I just put a Rival Skidplate set on this week, to avoid further brake line or other damage.  Heading to the Hatefield and McCoy trails in a few weeks for the first time.

Awesome, welcome and change the air filter to unifilter ASAP if not already done. The stock paper filter lets much dirt through, and check all the nuts and bolts for tightness, many have found things loose or not torqued. Squeaky bushings are another issue, all these items have been addressed in other posts.

Thanks, I have seen the posts about the bushings.  It was really, really bad before I hit it with some marine grease!  As of today the squeaking is gone.   Can you please tell me what filter to purchase and from where, so that I can get that taken care of before my next ride, I would really appreciate it.  I plan to get snorkels as soon as my year warranty is up.

Get either one of these and good, name brand foam filter oil and cleaner. I use FAB-1

Don't wait too long..she's already lost several thousand miles-worth of life with the OE filter.

Thanks NMK. I ordered the first one and will be installing it and the new brake line next week.  I've actually never used a oiled air filter as they always killed the mass air flow sensors on the Land Rovers I've unfortunately been   adicted to.

Just use  a good oil that dries very tacky and squeeze it in a paper towel before the transporter evaporates to get all excess out before it dries. Then let stand a while before installing & using. That will minimize the oil from being pulled in. Can't do that with a K&N. Then if needed sometime these sensors are easy to clean.
