How does it handle with the tracks on? Would you consider, or could you or want to.... leave them on all year? Enquiring minds would like to know?  :-\

I'll start with the negatives first. 1 Top speed is reduced to almost half. 2 Fuel consumption goes up. 3 Bit more maintenance then tires. 4 Rougher ride on hard surfaces then tires. 5 Turning circumference is increased. OK, now for the plus side. 1 Pulling power is really increased. 2 Never get a flat. 3 Flotation is increased substantially allowing one to go places you wouldn't dare, before. 4 Traction is substantially increased adding to more pulling ability. 5 Wider foot print adds to stability around turns and crossing hills sideways. 6 Ground clearance is increased allowing one to ride over rocks and stumps without getting hung up. 7 Allows your quad or SxS to be used all year round if you get large amounts of snow. 8 Turns your quad or SxS into one bad ass looking machine. The tracks I bought (Camoplast 4s) are a four season system and work in the conditions I encounter, very well. Others are only recommended for snow only, and will wear out prematurely if used in other conditions. I personally wouldn't leave them on all year round because I ride on dry, hard pack in the summer. If I was hauling logs across bogs or working in the woods full time, I may consider leaving them on all year long.

Great pics and you did buy the best tracks-Camoplast is the best for all ATV and UTV applications hands down. One more question...lol. What GPS system is that and would you recommend it for all conditions? I'm looking for a new system for my Z8.

This is an older model but any from this company are awesome. I really like the large buttons and screen, easy on the old eyes. lol
