Greetings!

I'm holding my brother responsible for this purchase, with a little help from my wife.

My brother took me for a trail ride on his cforce 500 2-up and we had a lot of fun. My wife's interest piqued when discussing the trip, so we went down to the local dealer where she sat on one and said "I think I'd like to do this!"

After thinking on it a while, I thought she would have a better time if she didn't have to stare at the back of my head during rides, so I explored the SxS market instead. I liked teh Wildcat Trail, but the door frame was right up against my knee so that was a no-go. We both loved the Zforce. The general consensus from this forum and elsewhere was that the 500 will do the job, but the 800 will do the job well.

Forty miles and covered in mud on the first trip. Taking it easy and keeping the RPMs below 4000 during the break-in period.

VernStock this weekend if everything pans out.

Doug.
