Hi Guys...Living in a rural area of Greece & for some time toying with the idea of an ATV.  Just found & purchased a CF 500 badged up as an "Explorer - Everest". The machine was imported from Germany & not sure if this spec. is Country specific ? Anyway, I guess any differences throughout the range would only be cosmetic ? The machine is three years old & only has 600 KLM's on the clock. First time ride yesterday & only did about 20 KLM's just to try out All drive modes & get to grips with handling characteristics. No problems I can find, except when in park, machine seems not to hold, even when incline is fairly shallow !  Can anyone advise as to whether park position activates a brake or supposed to lock transmission, there is no separate manual handbrake system on this machine, as seems to be on others. Checked out online manual, but info seems sparse regarding this issue. Thanks,
John

Not sure about the park problem. Might be a linkage adjustment problem. Not getting all the way in gear. You should have the same ATV called the X5, 500 classic and some other names I haven't seen.

...Thanks, think I've sussed it now - From what I can see with the bike on the ground, lever in park position seems just to operate via cable to the rear brake disk calliper on prop shaft. There seems to be adjustment, so will check out when I lift bike off ground.
