Hey guys.new to the utv scene.bought a z force 800 ex demo.has 247 miles on it.I have a few questions.I was moving a tree out of the trail using the winch.first time using it.when I rolled it out I noticed it was kinked and frayed and it broke the cable the first pull.is it under warranty? And does yalls click when letting off the gas and getting back on it..doesn't do it all the time .so far I'm really enjoying it..thanks for any help

Welcome. Nice to have a full cab that can be taken off in the summer. Anyway, no ours does not "click" The shifter is probably out of alignment. If that's what it is, I would not let it do that very long. It's basically out of gear and grinding the edges off it. In H, push the button in. This will release it from the shifter's detent..move it back and forth a little and feel the transmission's detents. If it feels like it wants to go back or forward from where the shifter detent is, you have confirmed it. I would just fix it...but depending on your comfort level maybe take it in and have them replace that cable and fix that shifter right a way..yeah, that cable should be under warranty as it is your first usage.
