Battery issues
« on: September 07, 2024, 10:28:51 AM »
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, I have a 2022 uforce 1000. I love to ride and play in the dessert, I do a lot of hunting with my uforce.
I am having problems with my batteries bulging out. The first battery which was the stock battery bulged out in a year, I replaced with another battery, and that one bulged out within a year. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening. I do live in se oregon so it gets very hot here. Thank you for any replies and suggestions

Bulging batteries is a sign of over charging, either by amps or volts. I would test the stater but I think I would replace the rectifier/regulator anyway just for GP. You can test the voltage at the battery and it shouldn't ever run over 14.7 volts no matter the RPMs...and not under 13.8 +- at idle.
