You can try, and some use the Can Am filter or a few others but there are some risks...you are always save when using the OE filter. First change, use a good conventional oil with JASO rating and stick as close with the manufacturers weight rating as possible. 15w40 is a bit hard to come by sometimes so 10 or 5w40 is fine. On the next change you can go to synthetic but watch that JASO rating. There are several good ones out there...I just happen to use and like Castrol Power RS 10w40.

Did buy a zForce 800 eps 2017.

Here in Quebec, temperature go often below -20C.  Should I go with 15W40 at my first oil change or should I go to 10W40 or 5W40?

Also, do there is a place in canada that I could buy oem parts online?

My standart change is always to 5W50 full syn Oil with JASO specification.

I do that the last 8 - 9 years; the engines run great on that. What weather conditions there are; this Oil dus the Job always.

I really don't see a reason to ever use a 15w way too thick on start up. I've been using rotella T6 in all my toys with wet clutches
