I added the super ATV power steering kit to ours, ordered the Factory mount for the steering motor, didn’t
use the universal mount from the kit, works fantastic, had no problems with it at all.

I don’t care what the dealership says, whining is not normal. Ours don’t whine or several others I know doesn’t.

Hey Mackle I found an exact match at Lowe’s home improvement, it was a textured black spray paint.
I’ll try and find the can and take a picture of it tomorrow and post it.

Hey NMK, I used the ones from super ATV , 1 3/4 the bolt pattern matched up with the bolt pattern of the z.
I’ve chopped several z cages.

and also Wild Willys down the road from Ashland, both are very nice places to stay. and the trail system is right there.

hey clacek,
i've got a complete roll cage off a 800EX which i think is the same as the trail model, as well as a lot of take off parts.
upper and lower a-arms front and back, set of shocks front and back, excellent shape. in case you would like to convert to EX.
i'll take a 100.00 for the cage picked up, my be worth the ride. Ala. not to far from NC.
other parts i'll make it worth the ride.

But we go to Carolina adventure world in Columbia SC a lot, great place to ride, all kinds of terrain from hills to valleys mud if you like, gift shop with a grill, good camp sites also cabins.

Hey Buzzard,
yea we go to HM a lot, if your camping or stay in a cabin you can't go wrong
with twin hollows camp ground or ashland resort, twin hollows is on the top of a mountian
and has a really great view, very clean and friendly.
ashland also clean and very friendly, we like the trails at ashland better not so rocky.

Hey fish, yea I ran across this also, I just ran a tap down to chase the threads and it worked ok.
don’t  remember what tap it was just matched it up to the bolts.

Hey guys, i tried that one a while back, very poor quality nowhere near the volume it needs to hear it while riding
i finally ended up with the MTXMud sys30, now thats a nice system, not a problem hearing it at any speed.

hey Guys,
when we bought our EX i didn't get the power steering because i was concerned about
reliability of elect. items in that kind of environment, not just CF, but any manufacturer,
but i saw how reliable they are so i wished we had it on ours.
well i decided to try one of SATV easy steer units, Man, it was so easy to install.
and what a difference. i also ordered the original mounting plate so i didn't hafta fab.
one up, just had to cut and weld the steering shafts the rest is bolt on.
wish i had done it sooner.
