General Discussion / fan/rad relocation kit
« on: Yesterday at 11:01:38 AM »
Any suggestions for a fan/rad relocation kit?  Specifically for a Cforce 600 Touring.
I have the bike snorkeled already so a snorkel attachment would be nice too.
cheers

What are the battery dimensions for the Cforce 600 touring?  (my bike is elsewhere at the moment so I can't measure it myself)

Any suggestions on where to pick up a replacement in Ontario/Canada?

Thanks
  John.

@CrashWithABang, CVT belt temp sensor, there's such a thing?  Where would I find one and how do you install it?
My belt blew up recently (into about 100 pieces) while I was cranking down a gravel road, and I wonder if a belt temp sensor might have saved me as I assume it overheated which caused the blow-up.

@warmonkey, did you change the helix also?
The components that you listed, are they from Main Street also?

strange, if you listen to this proponent of CFmoto products, and someone who seems to know a fair bit about the CVT (see his other videos) they recommend low gear most of the time

Thanks.
I think I'll take it for a short wet ride and see if the seal remains in tact.

General Discussion / Do I need a new CVT cover?
« on: October 26, 2023, 08:45:47 AM »
my cforce 600 belt blew-up (into about 100 pieces) and I think it damaged the CVT case as I think the rubber gasket wall is missing in places around the inside of the CVT case - see red highlighted areas in this pic - https://imgur.com/a/Lk9ajvZ
The inner wall for the gasket should go all the way around the cover, right?
I assume I need to replace the cover, but I'm hoping someone will tell me otherwise here  ;)
Thanks

Thanks.
Ya there are threads stuck in the secondary.
Hopefully if I remove the secondary it will all work out.

I can't seem.to get a post uploaded that includes a picture, is there a file size limit?

My belt blew up (into about 100 pieces) and I'm working on replacing it.  I have a CFmoto spreader tool for the secondary clutch but it doesn't seem to be working.  I have cranked it down extremely hard but it's not going in very far, and yes it's in the threaded hole - help.
Thanks

My dealer/shop told me that they have to replace the coolant temp sensor if the bike over heats, but that seems like BS.
I design electronics and don't understand why someone would design a temperature sensing element that gets damaged if it gets hot.
What gets damaged in the CFmoto sensor because I just looked up a few temperature sensor semiconductors and they are fine to 155C, which is well over a rad's maximum temp, no?

So does anyone know if they real do need to change the coolant temp sensor if the rad over heats (oh, and it over heated because the fan died on my 2 yr old Cforce 600).
The worst part is they replaced the temp sensor and the new sensor was defective right from the start and CFmotot says that it's not covered under warranty - WTF!  Sorry, just very frustrated about this.
Thanks

Thank, I purchased the paper manual but it's with the bike in the CFmoto shop.
