CForce 500 H.O./550 / Re: 2017 500 HO coolant leak
« on: December 09, 2020, 02:53:56 AM »
This is mainly because of the cheap chinese coolant they come filled with from the factory, not lubricating enough. I had the same issue but ended up replacing the water pump and seals on waranty. Now my local dealer replaces the coolant on all new machines with Renault Type D green one and none have came back with the water pump failure.

MpG is usually low in these machines.. i get around 120km with a full tank but regarding the guge is just a feature that cfmoto doesn't seem to fix. Some users have fiddled around with the floater inside the tank and it made it better but don't know what they did exactly.
I get the same thing, flashing empty and when i fill it up it only takes 6-7 liters which is about half the tank

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Low Beam running constantly - DIY
« on: October 09, 2020, 03:15:54 AM »
Hey guys,
So after searching through the dark web I finally found out how to disable the low beam from constantly running whenever you turn on the engine. After doing this the light switch will work normally and when in the off position low beam will be off and the DRL on. There are two diodes on the electrical circuit and one of them needs to be removed
This worked for my Cforce 520L and for my friends Cforce 450L.

Steps:
-Remove the front left wheen arch, there are 3 of them but you only need to remove the one under the headlight (I removed all so I can take better pictures) and the thingies are where the arrow points.
-Just behind the radiator you will find the two diodes that need to be removed. Any one of them will do the same thing so it doesn't matter which one you pull out.
-Isolate everything so water doesn't get into the leftover holes and place the wheel arch back.

Hope this helps you guys and I asume you are all mature to know that it will void your waranty :)

It is only complete, you need the complete socket 9GQ0-150500 which is not that expensive, around 12$

@Skogsvarelse any chance you can make an effort and open your hood to show us what to remove? You could really help us out with this as many people are asking and nobody got the answer.
