Nmk said it. It's just turns it from prius off the line to a mustang lol. But you can still crawl around at low speeds without any whip lash

That helps, thanks.  I didn't see a specific "how to" thread on this job.  What do you think time-wise it takes?

Look for one with "Clutch work" in the title. If I just reclock, I can pull it down and back together in about an hour. But I have done it a few times before. Give yourself a couple of hours but watch the videos first. Here's the post:  http://cfmoto-forum.com/how-to's/zforce-800-clutch-rr/

NMK I see you made a tool to hold the secondary in place for R/R of the nut. It is possible to put the zforce in gear and use the parking brake to keep it from moving? I don't know what the transmission in this is like if its just a chain case or is there something that would slip?

With the kind of forces needed it would break a tooth off a gear..or just slip on the brake. I wouldn't. Hold it with something...even a strap wrench big enough might do it. Hope yours isn't rusted-on like mine was.

Had no issues,  came off with impact... going on I'll have to figure out something to hold it.  They must have taken the secondary off already because the nut was greased =).. that is a tight fit to get the secondary out though  have to move the harness out of the way so you can pull it out right to the battery frame or she doesn't come out.

I just had my 16 EX in for it's first service. Had my dealer switch the secondary spring to B2, have only ripped around the yard. I can't really tell if it's that much better but I did notice it doesn't bog as much once you're rolling from start when I was on blacktop at WOT.

If you can't feel the difference between B1 and B2 I would have to question if the dealer actually did it.. or..did it right because there is a major amount of preload increase between the two. Sure, starting off from a stop would be the same but after that it should be quite evident. Maybe just some more seat-time is needed...:)

Yes, seat time will tell. Snow is starting to melt here so it won't be long!

Yeah I'm curious if the dealer did it also. It's a major improvement for low and mid range

At cowboy.. how did you change your clock position on the clutch? I live in Maine as well. Can you help assisting me with this? I'd like to upgrade my tires due to the fact my brand new stock tires have a tear in the sidewall  :-\ not sure how it happened. But any how before I order my bigger tires id like to do this mod.
Thanks for any help in advance.

::)I see your from Maine. How does one switch to the b2 position??  ???

To the guys on here that have switched there secondary to the b2 position. I know the z800 will walk a rzr 800. But the 900 is a different animal, im aware of the power difference but im curious if just switching my z8 to the b2 ( keeping stock 25g sliders ) will go go neck and neck with the 900 till about 40-50mph? What do you guys think
