Z800 trail vs EX dust
« on: February 13, 2017, 10:01:49 PM »
A friend and myself have just bought Z's, his a trail and mine the 60" model. It seems his sxs makes a LOT more dust than mine and he looks like 'pig pen' after we ride. His car has doors installed which I sure hope isn't the problem as I have a set on order. If the doors are the problem I wonder why it hasn't been discussed here? Any thoughts?

Mine is also a trail or as the called them in 2015, 53". With the tires closer and no fenders the air flow sends more into the back and cab. The doors actually help some but a windshield stops the flow through and the dust starts swirling in the low pressure zone behind it and pumps it into the cab. That's the very reason I bought a rear window. That stopped it. Now with my fenders, doors, windshield and the rear window, my cab stays pretty clean..... at least from dust my machine tosses up.
