I need a new winch and am not sure what is all out there. I would like one that has a little more pulling power than the stock one. We have a lot of clay mud, so when you get stuck you are sucked in good. I have a Zforce 500 trail. Any suggestions wood be great. Thanks

Depends on your pocketbook...and room in there but the best like Warn and Ramsey aren't cheap. But ones like Superwinch and Viper Max are still quality winches but like half the cost. I think these come with a 3,000 lb wench so you want 3,500 or 4,000 lb. Not sure on the room but research the size well first.

The 4000lb might be a tight fit but the 3500lb ones will work for sure. Now I just have to find the best deal.

Best deal price wise you may find at harbor freight, but I wouldn't count on reliability. I had a good Warn winch on my old sportsman, thing was 15 years old but still pulled great pulled better then the new super winch one I had rated at the same strength.  Superwinch is all made with garbage now

I have the viper max 3500, Waterproof and pulls hard. Fit up good too. Motoalliance does off parts for them too

I ended up ordering the Viper max 4500 with synthetic cable. Got it through side x side stuff for under 300 dollars. They were very helpful in answering questions and making sure it would fit. That and it has a good warranty.
