Im about to buy 2 doors and inside pockets from Rodin UTV accessory's for my z800 . Are you all satisfied with the quality ,shipping and ordering methods. . They really look like quality products for the money . .

I bought doors from Rodin.           They look great on my machine, well made. It took about 3 weeks from time of order to having the doors at my doorstep. Not bad coming from Russia all the way to Indiana in the US.

At first I was a little apprehensive on the order aspect going via Pay Pal. But all is well with transaction. Rodin got right back to me when inquiring about doors, sent an e-mail with details and pictures of what the doors will look like.

All is well and very happy with the doors and look on my Zforce 800 EX EPS.
The picture is what I received from Rodin and is exactly what it looks like on my machine.

Anyhow, I did not order the bags although they look to be quality also. You can only spend so..... much money at a time.

You are going to find that most of ( not all) the CFM owners have bought Rodin's doors...all very satisfied. Although I didn't buy mine straight from him, I did by them from a member I ride with here who was also very satisfied with the complete package. And personally I am also very happy with them. I also like I can just pop them off anytime I think I don't want them on.

I received my doors in late August this year and everything from communication to installation was simple and easy, I was concerned that the metal doors would trap noise from the engine, CVT etc and  I ordered the liners to help absorb some of that as well as for the additional storage they afford, I don't know about the earlier doors but mine are a composite core with a very thin aluminum skin and I was expecting a solid aluminum panel, my only concern is the long-term adhesion of the aluminum skin to the core, maybe someone will comment on the costruction of the door skins from a year or so back, as they say "I would purchase them again"

I have had several motor homes over the years that became delaminated from moisture getting in and the composite out side coming off or severe bubbles..    I myself thought the doors were a solid aluminum panel.. I will wait and see if more chime in.

Are your doors composite skin also.. If so any signs of delamination ?

I bought Rodin's doors this year and had him match the factory colors and graphics. My suggestion to you is, BUY SOME ! They are awesome! Perfect fit, looks great, no rattles. Not a hard install, but a few instructions would be nice. I watched the install video that is posted somewhere on this site and that helped. Rodin was very quick and helpful on his e mail response. Highly recommend !

I don't want to be misunderstood, as I said I would buy them again, I commented in another thread that they are a great fit and the framework is extremely strong and that I originally had unnecessary concerns about the strength of the smallish square tubing vs the substantial size of the round hip bar that the factory uses. I think the quality, design of the hidden framework and the graphics are the best out there, my only concern is the door panel, I didn't try to chip away a small piece of the core to see what it is and I would assume that it is some type of plastic laminate with the aluminum skins or either side, I will send an inquiry to Rodin to find out what he is using for the core, while a new aluminum skin could be cut and installed easily enough if there is a delamination issue I don't want to go through that process and lose the graphics along the way. I would like to hear from a member who has an older set of doors as to whether or not they were solid aluminum panels or a laminate, the aluminum skin on either side of the laminate is very thin maybe .025 inch or so, but the door skins do feel strong.

Mine are several years old now and are as solid as they were new. Good as solid aluminum IMO. I don't think the material is anything to worry about and it probably makes the doors lighter then it would with solid aluminum too.

Thanks for the feedback NMK, I thought the laminated skins were something new that might have come about recently, in my correspondence with Rodin he said the door panels were aluminum and I believe that I saw that claim elsewhere on his site and it caught me off guard when they arrived and I saw that they were laminated and not solid aluminum, I purchased because or the positive comments on this forum about the doors and I don't ever recall anyone discussing the construction being a laminate and I didn't want to be part of a new and possibly untested method.

I think they have always been this type and I have heard no one ever say they had a problem with it. I also think because of how they are made it also resists denting too.  The only thing I wish Rodin had done was make the top with a hair more elbow room. Maybe it's just me but I seem to catch it on the cross brace sometimes. No biggie but I had a set of very heavy home made doors that had a single bend outwards on top in the center that gave me enough room so that didn't happen. They weighed 3 times as much as these though.

Never sat in one with the Alpha doors. Rodin's are fine...I just have a habit of having the elbows in the wrong place sometimes.
