What snow plow are you guys running on your ZForce?
« on: December 04, 2019, 07:31:05 PM »
I'm looking for a plow for my Zforce.  Found a Kolpin Switchblade 72" for $550CAD.  Anyone have this plow?  Are you happy with it, and how has it held up?  Did you have any issues mounting it to these machines?  Can it be easily removed like the Click n Go? I probably won't be going out wheeling much through the winter so it's not a big deal, but would be nice all the same.

I have been looking at others such as Kimpex Click n Go and KFI, but those are double the price of the Kolpin.  I just plow my own yard, it's a good size but not overly huge.  I've been plowing it with my 4 wheeler and 48" click n go plow for years, but the wheeler is starting to show its age and is becoming a PITA, and this morning it helped me decide that I should just buy a plow for the Z.  Any tips are welcome, such as preferred brands, where to buy (in Canada), etc.  Thanks!

I bought a KFI 60 inch.  $540 easy install.  Works great.

I've heard a lot of good things about KFI, haven't used one myself though.  I'm eyeing the Click N Go 72" prettttty hard right now, been watching some videos and talked to my dealer today who can get me one for a decent price.  They're just so damned slick to mount/unmount and angle etc.  My current original Click n Go on my wheeler has held up great over many years of plowing so I'm taking that into consideration too.  I'll give the KFI plows a closer look though before I decide.  Thanks!

I dunno. $900usd was too much for a plow for me.  It takes me about 3 minutes to hook up my plow.  I usually leave it on all winter as i don't really ride in the winter.  It's simple,  adjustable blade attack angle,  spring tension and has 3 angle settings.  The only thing i wouldn't mind is an additional 2 angle settings,  but i could easily drill holes if i wanted to add two more positions.  It's simple,  it works and it was about $3-600 less than others.  One season on it and it still looks brand new.  Quality steel.
