This is like my almost daily backyard drive.
Starts at about 21 degrees and ramps up pretty good in several places and open out into 100s of acres to cruise around in if I can't hit the trails.
Further up (I was too lazy to walk that far up the hill, my 5 acres is narrow and long)
I suspect the longer wheel base of the 800XC really helps the feel of stability on this loose scree (bullrock) and shards.
I'm working another route up one of the draws.
For a beginner this is a pretty decent hill climb, the ones further up are steeper without the loose rock.
Other than that I got out up Pinecreek for a bit . . completely forgot what riding below 40 was like and didnt dress quite warm enough . . but not a bad morning there either.
