My neighbor, who has a CFMoto UTV, told me I had to have turn signal lights to be legal in Utah, in order to scoot around Moab on the streets and highway connectors.

Well... My CForce 1000 has head lights, tail lights and brake lights.... but no turn signals.

Under no circumstances am I purchasing the $1,200 kit from CFMoto.

Has anyone added turn signals to their ATV?

Hadn't thought about a third party kit...  thanks for the idea.

I like this one from Rocky Mountain.

After looking over my machine closer, I actually don't need those whole kits.  I already have mirrors, a horn, etc...   I only need blinkers.  So, I can order the switch, LED blinker lights and the LED Relay.... and with some wire and connectors, I am done.

The switch has an ON/OFF button and I think I am going to delete the other Fog Light switch on the handle bars and use the ON/OFF for those lights.

Also, the switch includes a horn button.  I already have a horn button.... so I am trying to brain storm what to do with that button.

When I get the parts from Rocky Mountain and do the install, I will include pics and a write-up.

The bits and pieces arrived from Rocky Mountain ATV today....

I'll be installing this weekend and will show pics and do a write up.

I can tell you now, that I will be deleting the LED Fog light switch that came on the unit and using the "ON/OFF" switch on this new control until for the fog lights.  I have been brain-storming what I can use the horn button for on this new unit, but don't have a bright idea yet.  The horn will stay controlled by the original controler.

Alright... job done.  It took me way too long today, but it is done right.

I started off removing the Fog Light Switch (it is deleted and moved to the new switch), and the winch button.

Nutsy CFMoto actually welds a little bracket on the handle bar, to mount the winch button, so I had to grind it off to make room for the new switch.  Of course I was very, very careful to only cut and grind the welds and then I repainted.

Then I drilled and mounted the little, flush LED blinkers..... ran all the wire to the front dash...... hooked up to the hot on the battery, added an in-line fuse and the LED FLasher Relay.

It all works perfectly and the little, tiny LED's are super bright and will get people's attention.

Since we truly do multi-day adventure rides, the Satellite Toys are required.

Utah/Moab.... here we come.... At least when Fall rolls around and it cools off.  hahahahaha

I am still not sure what to do with the Red Horn button on the new switch.  No reason to add a second horn.  I thought about mounting a couple of intense LED spot lights, that would be activated by pushing the horn button...  but not sure.

Also, I could mount one of the intense LED lights to the rear.... that might be cool.

I love what you did. Nice job!
I'd like to copy it on a 1000 and and 800.

Was the link you provided (Rocky Mountain ATV/MC) the one you ordered? Any other parts?

Any other suggestions on the install?

The Rocky Mountain turn signal kit was out of stock, so I just ordered the individual parts that I needed.  If I had ordered the kit, I wouldn't have used half of it.  The label for the parts is Tusk, which is the house brand.

It really cost my about $60.

Looked at all your pictures and great job you did.
I was going to hook up blinkers on my z force trail 800 but i decided not to.
I'm in Weiser,Idaho and it's legal to ride or drive on the streets.
I use my hand signals and have been.So far so good.
