Man...everyone has..or better have switched. The unifilter is the only one we recommend. If you have not, know that your stock CFM filter as well as others like the TwinAir are letting 30+ micron-sized particles through which is slowly..and surely.. killing your engine. I'm actually running two

I ordered one, it's at the house, I work out town on the regular, and I have the trailer loaded and ready to ride, we ride dunes on Oregon coast, I told the wife to pack that filter and I'll change it when we get there, is there any other gains other than safer air?

Yeah..maybe a little. Be sure to use a quality foam filter oil treatment. Most of us use and trust Maxima Fab-1.

Its good stuff. Just work it in well and then roll up a paper towel inside to get the excess. It's been known to atomize and coat the air temp/mass airflow sensor with the oil. That makes it run funny...and not in a good way...lol.

Just a quick question,  if you're running two filters, you must have a Y pipe right? And all that fits with the filter access cover on? Just trying to picture your setup

Lol..nope. Picture one oversized one in the airbox, then picture the port for the airbox re-plumbed with 2.5-3" turbo pipe and silicone fittings to the bed, then add stacks/snorkels with inline filter cans with another unifilter in that can.  Now picture one for the engine and one for the CVT intake. The CVT intake has a dry-type easy clean-n-go filter though. Kinda looks like this:

I just ordered one yesterday,my original cfm filter did allow fine dust into the intake system.I only have 97 miles, but i am not chancing it,cfmoto on my 500 trail put a fine mesh black sock over the intake, but it still got through anyway...

Thanks for your input! Much appreciated, I only ran ours for 30 miles the first time out, I'm putting that filter on before anymore riding!

Good. The #1 killer of these engines has been particle ingestion. The #2 has been heat.
