I’m hauling 2 side x sides on my trailer this weekend and wanted to see where everyone picks to tie down their machine? Typically I use anchors around the lower control arms close to the ball joints and hook a 2inch transport strap to them. I pull the front to rear and vise versa. The cfmoto machine seems to be more of a pain than most to find good tie down points.

That sounds fine. As a rule you want the suspension to work but the tires anchored. If not the tires, as close to then on the a-arms as possible. Never use the winch.
