The only thing I might say is the wheels are the correct width for 11s on the back and 9s on the front. Going to different widths will change the profile and actual final height of the tire. To overcome this, get wheels all the same width. The only other thing is you will be adding an inch to the front which will increase load on the front end parts and steering. Not a lot, but enough that in time will cause increased wear on parts like the rack, ball joints, tie rod ends and maybe a-arm bushings. But that's a ways down the road. Having all the tires the same height is more important. And you will want to reclock the secondary to..probably B2.

I believe the extra stress on parts is negligible for going up to 28's in my opinion. I have also done quite a bit of research much of the info on here about clocking the secondary. I agree you may want to clock it but B2 is probably a bit too much for 28's. A-1 or C-1 would probably be better suited. I know flash on here is running 29's with C-1 and he is happy with that. Depends on your riding style and preference though. They will also run Ok with 28's and leaving all else stock. Just remember every 2 inches up on tire size adds only 1" of clearance.

Talking tires, I wondered if those Wanda (Bighorn clones) would run small for their stated size the way about 5 of the 213 reviewers on Amazon say. Then it hit me that I'd never actually measured the stock tires to see what they really measured.

Sure enough the stock tires fudge the figures, badly. The tires sold as 26" are actually 24 5/8" or so aired up hard. That's without much really significant wear. Front and rear about the same.
Think I'll pull the trigger on a set of 27-9-14, 27-11-14 and if they even run a full inch short, as just one guy claimed I still gain 1 1/2" diameter, 3/4" ground clearance.  And if they don't run short I gain 1 1/4" GC.
Re clock the CVT to to C1 and any bottoming still happening, let 'er rub. :)

Before you do that measure from front to back across the center hub, not from the ground to the top. There is always compression at the contact patch which makes them measure short. Ideally they shouldn't be on the machine but mounted on the wheel and aired-up to the recommended pressure. But try front to back and from the center of the tire. Drywall square works pretty good because you have to reach past the center of the tire.

Not an unreasonable suggestion.  8)

I get 25 1/4", more squish than I expected. Still a tad under the stated size. :)

Looks like the rule is too low but I shot it looking down to keep the numbers readable. At eye level the drywall square cuts the dust cap in half.

Makes a difference. When I first read-up on it, people were saying the Reapers were all short but they measured under load from floor to top. But when I measured my 26's on the Brute like this, I got..well as you see.. 26.5". The same for the 27s on the Z..27.5". But as we see..some tires are purely short :)

Probably if they were aired-up to max pressure..about 30lbs they would be.. well closer...lol

You made me remember something kinda funny. I got into a fight with a rep for my Dirt Commanders when I had a huge hole in one that looked like the tread lug was actually tearing off. They asked what my pressure was. I told them 10. They instantly denied me saying I wasn't running proper pressure and said I need to run 30psi. I laughed at her. I had to explain to her that max PSI does not mean running PSI and the tire had specified load ratings at different PSI and that I would be bouncing like a basketball if I was running 30psi... I got her to concede the point, but they still denied the claim lol.

Does anyone know if you can put DOT rated tires on a Zforce 800   my dealer advised against doing that????

Sure you can. Many do especially in Europe. Here too when its legal on the roads.

just remember that a closed differential is not very friendly on tires when operated on pavement. Your dealer has a liability obligation and its probably wise for them not to advocate for anything that would involve operating a vehicle designed for offroad use to be used on-road.

Good point. Also..from my observations with my own rear gear case, the pavement may also not be so friendly to them or CV joints as well.

Wanda 27-9-14, 27-11-14 on my ZForce 800 Trail. I like 'em a lot. Now have 9.5" G/C at the rear skidplate and 9.5" at the strange dropped spot at the rear of the front bash plate. No longer am I  slamming into every softball sized rock on the trail. Tires seem fine first time out.
The CF Moto speedometer is wildly optimistic, even with true running 27" tires against 25 1/4" stock tires the speedometer still reads faster than the true ground speed reading GPS says I am going.

Chinese ORV, Chinese tires. Seems legit. :)
