Here's how I see it. Our dealers along with CFM, CFM-USA and CFM-Canada are the only sources for product information that should be recognized. If it isn't an official release, it's just speculation or hear-say, no matter where it was posted or by who.

I agree NMKawierider. From what I've heard & just read the engine will be 86hp. The V-twin will have 91mm pistons, 10.5: compression, a 75mm stroke with a Delphi 46mm EFI. I hope it is on the old chassis, that will save us a lot of work designing new panels, that's a bit selfish I know but true. Looking forward to seeing the final stats.
Pacific Eagle UTV Enclosures were the first manufacture to support CF Moto with aftermarket Cab Enclosures and Windshields. Today we manufacture 32 Cab Enclosure combos for the UForce 500, 600, 800 &1000. We also manufacture 28 Cab combos for the ZForce 500, 600, 800 & 950 Sport & 1000. We think we have pretty much got CF Moto covered. We have updated our name to Pacific Eagle Powersports.

Looks like its running CST Wild Thang tires as well. I really like those tires - they look like a cross between a Mega Mayhem and a Mud Lite XL.

Just excited that Cfmoto is stepping up to the competition and making a point that they are serious and hear to stay.  I'm sure this will at least cause a buzz about the brand and help solidify their presence in the SXS/UTV/ATV market here in the states.

If it's true it will. There is however nothing from CFM about any 1000 on any of their sites and no actual press releases that I can find. This could be all made up. Hope not..not that I would actually buy one..but for their presents in the marketplace.

different clutch on that one above....Im not doubting there is a 1000 in the works.  From what i have seen and heard from A LOT of CF Moto dealers (and if you talk to owners)  CF Moto is either VERY unorganized or they just dont communicate well.  But it seems like a lot of information falls through the cracks about problems, fixes and new things.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

NMK, That is a photo from the dealer show.
Photo taken second floor of the staff Cafeteria.
None of you may belive who I am or what I do with CFmoto But I can confirm that photo
That said, small changes will still be seen,
To reinforce my mouth, I will include a photo of the engine.

Oh I believe the information we get from our dealers. I was just saying that if it didn't come from a dealer or CFM themselves, I choose to be...skeptical...lol  I would think that if they make an official announcement, there would be an...official...something...somewhere..on it. Maybe it was just to the dealers not the public yet.

2017 CFMoto ZForce 1000. Utilizing the same chassis as the Z8-EX. No other details as of yet.

First off I don't own a Z but do I like the idea of having a 1000 option to choose from when I finally decide to purchase a 2nd SXS for play. One thing I do hope from this is that they do not rush into pushing this model out. I know it is only speculation at this point but if they plan on using the 800ex chassis I believe the will be missing the boat big time. I read a lot of posts on here about issues people are having and changes that are being made by individuals to made things better with the 800Z that CFMOTO could step up and make big strides in performance and reliability issues. One major thing being a redesigned AIR INTAKE setup and exhaust changes that would increase performance and longevity of the machine. This could really be addressed with some chassis changes. This could also open the door to some long travel suspension which would bring the performance to new levels.

I understand what you are saying Chris but it seems that CF Moto is already addressing the air filter issue.  Also they wont ever snorkel the machine.  It just wont happen from the factory.  As far as longer travel suspension the CF Moto does not need it at all.  The travel is plenty, it just needs better shocks under it is all. I dont think the 800 chassis is bad (in fact it is VERY strong).  There are just a few minor things that need tweaked to make it really really good.

Like I said chuddly I don't own the Z but have read plenty of topics on forums and groups all over the net and made some observations from what I have read. So my two cents is actually only worth 1/2 a cent. Lol

I'd really like to see a 1000cc from CF Moto come to fruition, but I'll honestly be disappointed if it uses the same chassis and suspension as the ZForce 800.

I'm not taking anything away from the Z8 line; the Z8 line are good machines in my opinion, but they can certainly be improved.  I'm glad they offer options for the 50" class as well as the 60" class, but there's an enormous market for the 64" extreme-performance machines.  It's simple:  people buy them and will continue to buy them.

I'd strongly consider getting back into a CF Moto if they offered a higher performance option than what's currently available.

Here's what I'd want in an "extreme-performance" CF Moto offering (feel free to add to the wish-list):

- 100+ HP and increase strength of drive-line components to compensate for additional horsepower/torque (Polaris just now figured that out after 10 years of making SxS and still hasn't completely gotten it right).
- Longer travel suspension (16-18") with a rear trailing arm setup.  Partnering with Elka would be A-OK and include rebound and compression adjust-ability.
- Heavily bolstered bucket seats w/ harness pass-throughs (4-point harnesses from the factory would be a huge thumbs-up).
- Sliding/adjustable driver's seat
- Redesign the entire cab with improved cab ergonomics; a more reclined seating position as well as the "sit-in" seat vs. the "sit-on" seat.  Add more legroom as well.
- Re-align the gas/brake pedals for a more natural foot/leg driving position.
- Relocate the oil filter to be more easily accessible and change it to a spin-on filter.
- Relocate the air filter AWAY FROM THE TIRES AND AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE.  No tool access preferably in the same location as the RZR 1000/new 900 models.
- Make the CVT housing accessible so that a belt can be changed on the trail without removing any body plastic.
- Do away with the metal "door bars" on the sides by the seats and include factory half-doors that are easily removable for hot conditions.
- Include an accessory terminal under the hood for easily adding electrical accessories.
- Include floor panel drains for washing out the cab of the machine.  Midwest/East coasters understand my pain with cleaning mud out of the cab.
- LED headlights and taillights
- 28-30" 8-ply tire or at least a 6-ply.
- 4500 lb winch with synthetic rope and include a dash-mounted winch rocker switch as well as the plug-in extension.
- Retain the laundry list of factory-included accessories that already make the brand attractive.

That sounds pretty cool, but I'd like to see something similar to the 800, but upgraded and modernized similar to the RZR S 1000. Something great for tight woods, with more power.

I have used the Hyundai of 10 years ago comparison for CFM. One thing that will inevitably happen is the prices will eventually close the gap between the The Big 5. Even though Hyundai is extremely competitive now their pricing is still a tad bit lower. Right now the CFM machines are a steal by comparison. RZR® S 900 MSRP Starting At $14,699(not including TTL). 75 hp. 10 less hp and $3000 less. Sign me up! Too late already signed up! My 2 cents.
