does anybody know were i can buy a shifter that works like a car park all the way forward and low all the way back?

It's also a function of where the positions are on the transmission. You probably won't find one like you want.

its not the cable that does it.  It doesnt even have a cable its shift rod.  and it is the pattern that the transmission is in.  The only thing you COULD do it make a linkage to reverse what it does now but that would be a TON of work.  Best bet is just to get used to it and you will once you get some seat time in.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

i have looked at it a couple of times to try and figure out an easy way and have not come up with anything yet i know it is a rod that moves everything didn't know if anybody else looked at doing this but thanks for you guys input if i procrastinate long enough maybe it will hit me lol

I have no intention of changing mine but I have my plastics all off and will take a look today for any other ideas but just sitting here in my office it came to me that of the trany's lever was to be flipped in the opposite direction, the order would be reversed..wouldn't it?

The gate pattern will be off.

yes it would have to be flipped and it would take a different shifter i was thinking about using a hurst quarter stick for a powerglide just have to figure out how to get cable mounted and i am pretty sure it would function this is my thoughts have to take time and c if i can make cable and bracket work as far as getting in mounted
