I’ve been trying for a week to join this forum using gmail, not in spam and requests for email didn’t come through.
Used another provider and bam 💥 it works.

Nope, even logged in Gmail on the website and nothing.
Interesting that my other email provider warned that they thought it was a bogus website.
Maybe that’s why gmail is blocking it now for new regs?
Here’s the warning:

“ This email has failed its domain's authentication requirements. It may be spoofed or improperly forwarded. Learn more”

It does for people with gmail trying to join.
My brother just tried with his gmail and it didn’t work.

Not finding anything different about sending confirmations to @gmail over any others. They are asking for specific emails that didn't get their registration confirmations so they can run some tests. So if you are one that had an issue, please post the gmail address that had the issue. This may be something with the spam settings.

I had the same issues. Switched to another email and it worked instantly.

I had no issues with my Gmail when I signed up 🤔

They haven't found anything with the system. It just sends the confirmation to the email as provided...however..if by chance someone was to put a blank space on either end or somewhere in the middle, or was using a smart phone that auto-corrected and changed something, that would be an invalid email address.
