Hello everyone, I'm having an issue with my 2019 cfmoto 500s. Long story short we went away and I ended up swamping my machine. Everything for the most part now is fine after getting the mud and dust out of everywhere possible.

The issue we are having with it now is once I shift the machine out of park or neutral it starts to go on it's own without giving it any gas. We have 2 identical atvs his is a 2018 and mine is the 2019. After looking over both machines we have concluded it to be the primary clutch one way bearing. As his spins fine and mine is bound up.

We are also having a hard time finding a replacement bearing anywhere. I have the bearing off and got the part number of NTN 6807LB.

If anyone has any insight or could help me out that would be greatly appreciated!

Looking at the parts breakdown at Alpha-Sports the 500s don't use a wet clutch so they don't use a one-way sprag. There is..however an idler bearing between the sheaves of the primary that the belt rides on when the clutch is not engaged. They have been known to seize-up and when it does, it will do as you are saying. They show is as PN: OGE0-051400-10000. And its about 132 bucks...wow.. I think I would take the old one to a bearing supplier and see if it can be matched-up.

Yes I did check on there. And seen the price so we were looking around and could not find one anywhere else. Was hoping to find one a little cheaper than that. Thus we tried seachering the original part number found on the actual bearing and came up with nothing as well.

I think you are going to have to take it in and let them match it up...if there is a match somewhere. I would try anything before paying that price for another POS Chinese bearing.

I just googled the part number and there are plenty of places in US advertizing them. Listed as 35x47x7mm deep groove bearing.

NMK you funny  ;D I agree 100% to research a real replacement.

My experience is more 2 stroke & normally I be would be reluctant to use bearings other than OE in critical internal conditions........these characters are not normal in QA or their standards are much lower than we are accustomed to.

Yeah I agree..my experience previously has been with Japanese OE and their's IS usually much better then you can get elsewhere..but that's just not the case with most anything Chinese.

For the one-way, this is the only pic I have. #17:

And that would be right for the old 188 class X5-500s and old X6-600 engine with the wet clutch. They have theirs on the clutch bell just off of the wet clutch shoes. See here:

When I search NTN 6807LB, which was listed in a previous reply, it just seems to be a regular roller bearing. Says nothing about one way or sprag. This doesn't seem to be the correct one?

I can only tell you that if CFM lists it in their parts breakdown as an overriding or oneway clutch, it is a sprag assembly not simply a bearing. However if they list it as a "bearing"...it's usually just a bearing.

Try to measure the one way bearing. On my 2017 cf 520 (500s for you in the us) I measured the one way bearing and it looked like it had cvtech trailblock standard measurements for one way bearings.
