The CForce 500HO and 800 will remain the same.

The CForce 500 and all of the UTVs will see a price increase of $300.

New for 2016 will be the introduction of the UForce 500 HO & ZForce 500 HO, featuring the same engine as the CForce 500 HO.

The 600 UTVs are no longer in production.

Is the cforce 500 getting a face lift this  time around.

Saw that coming with the 500 replacing the 600, it's more power out of less displacement, and you can phase out production of the older motor. 

The new 500 engine is basically the 800 cut in half, with a dry drive clutch. This is where the higher hp are coming from.

Is the cforce 500 getting a face lift this  time around.

No. I asked about why the increase in prices and wasn't given a reason. I asked if the increase meant changes in design, addition of features, increase in quality control, and again, wasn't given an answer.

I have an in person meeting with my sales rep next week and hope to have some answers then.

After what happened to our demo (come to find out it was a faulty air box assembly that caused the air box to become overwhelmed with sand causing the air filter to fail) and then the price increase, we are a bit flustered with them.

Some dealers here in Minnesota have reported having issues with getting some machines in. Prices might just be a supply and demand  thing. I  also had a problem with ductwork being deformed. The side of one was sunken in where it fitted to another one. This gave me a big gap for nasties to get in. I just took a heat gun to it and reshaped it. All better now.

The "shortage" is only because they were trying to get rid of the '15 models to make room for the 16s, and then there was an unanticipated delay in the arrival of the 16s which is why dealers couldnt get models in.

Emerson you do know the main factory only builds what is ordered by distributors around the world on a monthly basis. Any shortage will be your distribution Center holding off to clear their stock. CFMOTO truly has no model yr, as they preform Rolling updates. You will see these as you get new stock from your distribution centre.

You do realize what it takes to get a container of vehicles through customs right? Customs inspections. EPA Inspections. Union barriers.

Now, take into account the ports on the west coast have been dealing with union strikes, add typical customs and EPA delays, and BAM, you have an unexpected delay in the arrival of your 2016 stock.

As far as price increases... again, i've been in this business quite a while. I'm well aware of how this works. Their week long sales meetings included the chinese and higher ups (FYI, CFMoto USA is owned by CFMoto China). The sales reps and US side management spent most of the week trying to negotiate pricing as well as getting information as to WHY they decided to increase the price.

Considering CFMoto is a lesser known Chinese brand, and have done little to market themselves in the US (They do a GREAT job in Canada, Russia, and Australia though) I would say the price increase is a tad bit ill-conceived. At this point, they need to market themselves better. Something as little as a Facebook page goes a LONG ways, but the US side does NOT have one.

The one thing I've learned about dealing with chinese brands over the last 15 years, is they only care what THEY think about their product, and not what the market does. THEY think they have a great product, but the US market does not know who they are, except its another chinese brand. Part of marketing is getting your brand out there and into the hands of consumers. As popularity grows, you then build a reputation. Then you get your brand reviewed by major publications (again, once in the last few years has a major industry publication done any sort of review), send some units off to aftermarket brands to build things like exhaust, bumpers, ect... CFMoto NEEDS to step up their marketing game FIRST, otherwise they price themselves out of the market before they even get a chance to make some real headroom.

I've watched dozens of Chinese brands fall because of their lack of QC, marketing, parts supply, and premature price "greed" as I like to put it. I LOVE the CFMoto brand. They, in my opinion, are the first Chinese brand to really step up, get the QC almost to where it needs to be, have a decent parts supply and dealer support unit, and get the overall fit and finish right. But all of that is no good if they don't take the time, and invest the money, into getting the brand name out there.

So with cfmoto going to stop making the 600's is that going to mean it will be harder or impossible to find parts for them?

I wouldnt imagine so. The z600 (or Terracross in other countries) was pretty popular and that engine was around for a long long time. I wouldnt worry.

You will see parts for awhile, there is a lots of parts out there and a lot are interchangeable. So don't worry. As the GM of CFmoto Thailand I have asked this for my dealers.
