Hi

Got on my CF Moto Force 520 today (bought in 2021-ish). 
After a short ride, the power steering stopped working and the warning light is blinking - 3 long and 2 short which I think means Fault code 32.

Since then I have checked:

The battery.  Has a good charge and I did a full recharge.  Dealer said the battery needs to be in really good condition - but I'm getting 14.5V + when the engine is running.
Wiring and connections.  All good condition as far as I can see. 
40A fuse for EPS which I found buried near the solenoid..  All good and the connections are nice and clean

I've disconnected the battery and reconnected to try to reset everything.  EPS light still blinking and heavy steering!

Anyone have any clue as to what's happened or any advice on other things I can look into.  Could it be the EPS Controller has failed?

The only thing I can offer is this older EPS trouble shooter which says code 32 is a motor problem...or an ECU issue. This link will expire in 48 hours so download it soon.

Thanks for the download.  That's useful.  I'll check all the connections again.  It says potentially replace ECU - by which I'm presuming it means the main ECU, not the EPS controller.  I just find it a bit odd that it might be a problem with the main ECU rather than the EPS controller; but there's obviously a lot I don't understand!

....also, alot of parts advertised cheaper by Ali Express. Anyone got any opinions?

Check the parts list as many times the Chinese name things different then we do such as for us ECU usually stands for Engine Control Unit where they might call it Electronic Control Unit...although I do see on the parts list they do call it an EPS Controller..but that doesn't mean they call it the same everywhere. The service manuals is full of mis-translated things like that.  Ali Express parts are just fine. As good as any other Chinese parts...
