Yes but it has to be very large. Do you have other attachments in other posts? If so it could be that your limit has been reached on attachments. This is why we recommend uploading to a host like Imgur and posting URL links in your posts here. They are only text to our servers where actual photos take up memory space.. and the browser displays the image.

Otherwise it may be a format it doesn't recognize.
