So I've come across a legit issue with my Z8. On my last ride out I was overheating BAD. All the bars were up and it was blinking. I had noticed a small coolant leak out of the weep hole under the water pump. I was giving it time to see if it would stop as some here have mentioned. Never did, I added coolant a couple of times with no success. Finally this last time it was too bad and when I finally got it to water to cool off the rad, turned it off (left fan on) and I wasn't able to start it anymore, I assumed I went too deep and flooded my air box. And after washing it the next day it did have water in it.

Assuming that was the issue I drained all my fluids cleaned air filter and changed oil filter. When I went to start it, it didn't start ! I suspect some water may be caught in a low point on the exhaust pipe which I'll be checking soon as I get a chance.

But then there's this. It almost looks like coolant is getting into my oil but I'm not 100% on that. I want to look at the oil seal in the water pump but I'm not sure how to remove the impeller, sorry for the book. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

I'm just guessing from what I can see but in the first pic, the wet starts high at the oil filter cover and is running down so it looks to be oil. On the second pic, not sure what I need to look at but if the weep has been leaking for s while, it needed to be fixed. Heat is the enemy of all engines and yours went through the roof...so to speak. I would pull the plugs and inspect for water, then do a compression test, check spark, fuel, valve settings ect.
