oil puddle
« on: February 19, 2017, 06:58:59 PM »
ZForce 500 in the shop again, one year warranty up next month, found a puddle of oil under engine on concrete floor. It is not from the air breather case, I already had this problem. I see that the engine is wet with oil up high on the right hand side. Any thoughts anyone?

check if your oil dip stick is loose. other than that check the crank case breather hose. These are the only problems i have had with mine so far.

Dealer fixed it under warranty, was head gasket cover seal leaking the oil. The cold weather start squealing noise they said was the starter needs greased?  My high gear light indicator keeps going off and on. The dealer fixed it once when it went out.

I had my valve cover gasket give out on my z8.  I dont have a warranty so i bought the $20 seal (or whatever it cost) and spent 15 min putting it on.  Not a big deal at all.
