On my 2018 z force trail 800 the oil pressure light blinks about 7 times after i start it then stops blinking.
I have not noticed this happening before but i don't always pay attention like i should.Is this suppose to be happening?
It's in  the owners manual it's page 93,#12. Thanks.

Blinks...like..when? Off/not running with the key on, Idling, above idle? It should only be on when the pressure is below say 6psi and the new ones will blink once or so just after starting.

nmk.I'm figuring you know which light i'm talking about.It comes on when i turn on the power.Then after i start the machine it blinks 7 times then goes off. Iv'e still taken it out about 15 miles and havent had any problems.

Seven times is kind of different from what others have said. Most say two or three...but I guess if its out and doesn't come back on while running...it's Ok. My old system is on until it starts.. then...its off. No flashing.

Once i get to going i do pay more attention to my dash lights.
It doesen't come on when i'm driving.
