I have a 600 cf moto synper which has the crankshaft out of it presently because it broke a oil line and caused the damage.I was wondering can a oil pressure gauge be installed .The bike is at the dealers and when I asked they didn't give me an answer just a maybe. I would also like to know where I might find a crankshaft as have been waiting 4months for the part.

Any can have an oil pressure gauge installed. Just plumb it from the oil pressure sensor/switch. Remember...its all metric. And I see the cranks for the old 600s have been discontinued so...there won't be any out there except used...and most of those will be in the same condition as the one you have...unusable. May have to adapt some other crate engine in or...part it out. But maybe the dealer can find one...somewhere...someday. I do see that some of the "other-use" 2012/13  600s have their parts still available. Check out Alpha-Sports.com.

Thanks for your reply as i don't have the bike at home i have been looking at the wiring diagrams trying to see were the oil sensor would show on the dash. Maybe i have missed it but have not been able to see anything in the diagrams that says i even have one.As far as the crankshaft goes the the dealer had ordered one back in Nov.from cfmoto in Montreal which is head office in Canada,they told him it would be in Jan.1 it is still on the slow boat from China.I am thinking now why can't this crankshaft be machined ?

I think they are the old style with the one piece rod and roller bearings not the inserts. Even if they had the inserts, no one makes oversized for it.
