I don't know if it is just me but whenever a new person looks at my Z 800 they think it is really neat, until they find out that they are assembled and come from China! What are your experiences? What are your responses back to them?

On several occasions now when in the back of the truck headed for the trails I got people asking who makes it cause it looks so awesome. When I tell them its a CFMoto made in China, they seem OK with that.. especially when I tell them it was only 10K..not 17. On the trail people seem OK with it but you can tell what they are thinking. But.. not sure what their thoughts are when I go screaming by them with that 800 Rotax-copy teched-up though. HeHe..

Once there are a few more out there and been around a while, the perceptions will change I'm sure.

I get asked more often than not if it's a Can-Am and then explain what it is and give some information about it.  It amazes me how marketing (or lack thereof) can affect perceptions of something, but like you said when more and more start showing up and as time goes on the thoughts will change.

I'm going to Camp RZR Brimstone next month for my second Camp RZR - first with my Z8 - and plan to let mine speak for itself on the trails.  Last year they had a drag racing course set up and if it's there again this year I might line up with some other 800s....I'll be sure to get that on video.

The RZR 800 people will be pe-oed. I have a friend with one and he just won't even try anymore. Its like...if not worse then that one video I posted.

I get "is that a polaris" I then have to repeat CFMOTO a few times. They just stop asking who made it and ask how I like it. We have at least 4 dealers here in MN and I have been seeing alot of Z8s on trailers. It would be nice to have something to leave at the dealers with info on the forum so these new owners know there are people out there with good info for there new toy.

This is my current mileage, in under  a year of ownership.  Still runs fine.  People can talk crap if they want, but facts are facts.

Yeah an 800 RZR, and there was two people on the Z8...and you can see the parking brake light on in the dash shot. I kick my friend's 800 RZR even more that that.
