Picking up a zforce 500 in a few days and just wanted to here what to expect from it

Be very keen to here your thoughts once you get it as looking to pick one up myself in a few weeks time all going well remember plenty pictures.

As I recall there are/were some "oil in the airbox" issues that there was a recall on. Make sure your dealer took care of it. Is there really that much difference in price between the 500 and the 800?

So I called my dealer to discuss this issue and they said they had not seen this issue with any of the units they had sold yet but said they were going to run the vin to see if there are any recalls

Mine is a 2016 zforce 500 and I did have an issue with oil in the air box from day one but my dealer did the repair and have not had a problem since  . Now have about 700 km on it with no other issues .Has all the power I need .

Do you know what they did to make the repair

They vented a seal and lowered the oil level by .4 of a liter . They told me they were talking with Cfmoto Canada and they said it is only a few machines that is doing it , but of course my would be one .But since the repair it is fine
