Ok so I bought a 2011 600 w/1050 miles , the guy I purchased it from told me it needed a starter relay, he put a brand new battery in it and it just clicked, jump the solenoid started right up. I purchased a new solenoid oem installed it this morning and it does the same thing clicks, again I jumped brand new solenoid and fires right up? Any ideas Could it be the wrong battery??? What battery should be in there so I can cross reference ? Any ideas/ help appreciated! Thanks in advance

YTX30L-BS battery. Try fully changing the battery. If that doesn't work than you need a new one. If the voltage is low, than the clicking is all you will get. For some reason these will still turn over  with low voltage by bridging the solonoid even if it shouldn't.

There is a brand new battery in it, it is a Wal Mart battery ...Ever Start I think is the brand, I can find no #'s on it. I can say it does not fit in battery box correctly, you think my issue could be wrong battery? I appreciate the info

Just jumper it with your car/truck and see if it's a CCA or voltage problem. It may also be the solenoid may not be getting a full 12 volts or..it has a bad ground.

Was thinking it maybe a bad ground as well, forgive my ignorance but where is it grounded? Thanks again

Not sure on the 600. On most there are two points for chassis ground where one is bridged to the main ground which always on the engine block somewhere. The Z8s its on one of the forward CVT cover bolts. Sometimes some people drop that bridge link and because the engines are rubber mounted, the ground becomes badly intermittent as all the electronics find it hard to ground back to the battery with that missing or off. Fond it on the engine and there will be two-one battery cable, the other is that chassis ground bridge.

Never jump an ATV with a running vehicle. It can burn out the ECU. Some are more sensitive than others, but just a good idea.
