I've been reading at various sources that installing a windshield will increase in cab dust?
I would like a windshield so what else will I need to reduce dust intrusion?
Thanks!

Just the front windshield makes low pressure behind it which pulls the dust in from...well.. all around from the doors back. Like the low pressure behind a simi trailer. Adding a rear windshield helps by moving that low pressure farther back behind you but...you still have lower pressure in the cab then in front of the windshield and that will still draw some in-flow from the sides. Real full doors help as the majority of that dust is from the front tires and the doors cover that area of the dust flare. Doors with seals help even more but good luck finding anything like that for these. Some air input from the from pushing the air out the sides is a plus unless you are behind people kicking-up dust. This is where my flip windshield from SATV comes in very handy. It can be down and locked, open by a couple of inches for some air, or all the way up for full-force wind-in-your-face flow. Very nice...and necessary sometimes. In any case you will need...and always want some kind of dust mask when riding in a group in dusty conditions. I use these:

Highly recommend these-

These are OK for light stuff-

Welcome. Very important not to breath-in much dust as some never leaves us...and in time that build-up causes bad health issues.

Does this include the 1/4 or 1/2 windshield to need the rear also?

The partial windshields lets enough flow through that there isn't the pressure differential that allows the dust to be pulled in. Still get whatever is coming at you and some minor in from the back and sides at slower speeds but...that's normal.

I would give up all of the mods before I gave up my windshield. It is a must. It protects you from rain, wind, branches and limbs, mud in the face from the Asshole in front of you,"we've all got one in our group". Almost forgot, water coming over the hood because that puddle was deeper than you thought. I've got the SUPER ATV flip windshield. If you don't like it leave it open. At least you'll have it if you need it.

Mine is an Octane Ridge with a vent. It seems to do well with the vent open but close it and you can tell a huge difference. only one ride with it but by far my favorite upgrade

SuperATV flip windshield, the most rewarding mod I have done.
Requires the rear window too, of course.
