So we had a great ride Saturday. Unfortunately it ended bad. The good news is my roll cage did it's job and kept me safe. Oh, it's bent up but the structure held up. Lots of body damage.
The winch was very helpful in getting back upright. I'm pretty sure the insurance company will be totaling it. I'll miss the ol girl. We had fun.

Sorry for your loss but the important thing is that you are okay.

I actually have video of the entire event including the crash.
Although the video doesn't do justice, I was on a trial with a 30deg plus slope to one side. The car had slid right to the edge of the cliff and was ready to go down. we tried to pull it forward hoping that by pulling, it would keep the front end from going down, and it did. The problem was both right side tires hit a rocks at the same time, unsettled the car and the back end went over. i pinned it hoping to slow it down a little but eventually it was all over and I rolled backwards. it was about a 15 ft drop. Had to winch it twice from two different directions. Once to get it from behind the rock, the second time to spin it around. The winch saved the day.

Im pretty sure if we didn't have it there, I would have gone down sideways and a lot faster. I believe it helped.
There was very little doubt I was going down... it was just a matter of how. LOL

Like has been said before, the machine can be repaired or replaced, you can't be, so thankfully you are OK.
