>:(

I took my uforce to the dealer for warranty work in March of this year and they still have my machine. The digital dash display stopped working properly and the drivers seat would slide forward whenever I hit a bump. Along with a fluid change, these were the only issues I had.

Fast forward to August and the dealer told me that CFMOTO was at fault due to long shipping times and sending the wrong display 3 times. I was told to request a 6 month warranty from cfmoto due to it being in the shop this long. I asked the dealer to get me the extra warranty and was told they would try.

Now here it is September, and I was left a voicemail and told it was ready to pick up. I call back to set up a time to get the machine but was told there was an issue with the battery because it sat for so long. Now I had to wait a week for  cfmoto to warranty the battery.

Well, this last Friday I go to the dealer to ask about problems and they tell me it's ready. They tell me the amount due is for fluid service and seat bracket.

WTF!!!

The seat bracket should be under warranty so now I have to wait even longer to get my machine. They told me I could pay for the part and when warranty came in they will reimburse me. Screw that!

I was also told that cfmoto will probably not give me an extended warranty and the dealer won't help me because they have already been losing money in the shop.

So 6 months, no machine, and no one thinks they are at fault.

Do any of you have advice on how to handle this? Do I deserve some sort of compensation?

That is NOT how CFM works. Your dealer is lying to you. You should contact CFM USA directly and report this dealer....and get your machine away from those people!

I agree!  CF Moto has been very responsive with the warranty issues I've had.  Even issues that happened just out of warranty.

Thanks for the replies.

I sent an email to CFMOTO, hopefully that helps.

The dealer was asked to give me free servicing for compensation and they basically told me to kiss off. They might do discounts on a future parts. So I have to have more problems before they remedy my original problem. What a joke.

You know it's stories like this that make me appreciate Bobby-J's..our one and only CFM dealer. They aren't perfect, but they sure don't do people like that.

Update

Last Monday I received a voicemail from the dealer stating that CFM will warranty the seat bracket and that once the paperwork is in I will get a call to pick up the machine.

So now a full business week later and no call back.

Plus no response from Greg on here or CFM from the contact form.

This is ridiculous...I'm about to go full retard on both CFM and the dealer.

What probably happened, at least for the dash, is they kept ordering the wrong one. The UForce models ha e TWO part numbers for the dash, and the correspond with what connectors the wiring harness was made with. You have the standard old style, what I call thin cheap ones. And then you have the newer summito (I think that's how they are spelled) which are MUCH nicer, thicker, and have seals on them. If they aren't aware, or don't bother to check the parts break down correctly (which notes what connectors they have) they probably just kept ordering thinking they'd eventually get the right one.

Sounds like your dealer was too lazy to call for tech support. I had it happen to me with a front diff actuator and they gladly let me submit an RA and get the correct one sent free of charge.

Your dealer has the same resources us others do. It seems they chose not to use them. Don't let these crumb balls ruin your joy for your machine. Contact corporate yourself and talk to Amanda. She can get you taken care of.

Do you have a number for corporate or a direct contact for Amanda?
