Heat between seats
« on: June 25, 2019, 06:32:07 AM »
Hey everyone. I just bought a 2015 zforce 800 ex not eps model with only 880 kms on it. Bike us like brand new. Went for our first ride and noticed heat from motor coming out near our arms between the seats. Is this normal? I have only driven a rzr in early spring before so wanted to find out if is normal before taking to dealer. Also can you hear the cooling fan when turn on or are they quiet and hard to hear? The previous owner just have a fan switch or part fixed ir changed for the fan so wanted to know if working. It isnt overheating or running hot according to the temp gauge on dash panel.
Thanks in advance.

Normal for some heat to cone in..from many places. Lots of ways to slow or stop all that too.  Fan not all that quiet but sometimes on some trails it's hard to hear moving. 3-bars on the gauge is normal. Fan comes on just before the forth bar so you should never see more then that.
