Fault codes
« on: July 22, 2017, 07:21:09 PM »
Help needed please,
I have a 2015 z8 with only 180ks on it.......After last ride I washed it and drove into shed, went to start yesterday after about a month and nothing.......fuel pump gets pressure but won't even turn over.......put in new battery and then noticed the flflashing red light.......downloaded the manual to work out the fault codes and they are p0201, injector 1, p0202 injector 2 and p0230 fuel pump relay. Fuel pump still buzzes and cuts out when it's up to pressure......... anyone else had this issue and can offer a solution.......thanks in advance. Cheers

All these codes showing up at the same time is indicative of either a faulty electrical connection someplace or a failing ECM.

My guess would be that some water got into one of the connectors after the wash and was allowed to sit there. The water can act like a short or could corrode a connection.

I always start with the simple stuff first.

I would start by putting the machine outside in the hot sun for a day. Maybe even put a fan on it to move the air around. I would also start pulling and reseating the connectors in the harness that are related to the fuel handling system/ECM.

Why did you replace the battery?
